Kathy Griffin's earlier stand-up specials are so much better than her later efforts, and this may be her best one. Back when she was out there hustling for her career, her experience was so much more rich and varied, and it shows in her material. This is not just slagging on the same old tired celebrities, but great stories like performing in Afghanistan (funny and actually kind of touching) and attending Brooke Shields' wedding (classic!).
