As Russian films go this one was not bad. Follow this up with a read of "The Gun" by CJ Chivers.

Another Russian propaganda. A multitude of lies and absurd. "Some experts point to the similarity of the StG-44 and the AK-47, and also mention the fact that Schmeisser - together with a group of German engineers - was forced to work in the Soviet Union after World War II." The super-gun idea was stolen. So this film is Russian post Cold-War fantastic tale.
