I don't really have any attachment to the Just William books except seeing the first underwhelming film from 1940, which was only interesting to see another Lupino on screen. In this one William Graham takes the role of William, a role he'd do in two movies and then his career was for the most part over. Just William's Luck (1948) is a easy enough kid's adventure. Mildly cute, not that exciting, even if they go haunting.
