This is the best Pauly Shore movie. That's the equivalent of being the worst Bill Murray movie. Or a mid-level Robin Williams movie. Or twice as good as the best Rob Schneider movie.

Did you ever watch "12 Angry Men" and think to yourself "This is good, but it would be even better if it had Pauly Shore in it"? No, I didn't think so.

While experiencing this movie I kept looking at all of the extras and the looks of disdain they shoot at Shore. The 90s were a hellscape. The first time we see Pauly he is guzzling cream and spitting it on women then he is approached by a transsexual and Shore squirms away in his thong on the cre(For a brief moment I felt the power Barbara Williams and Samantha Adams felt as they scratched the script on a dumpster)

Why did we, the American public, fall for Pauly Shore? Was he good looking? Meh. Charismatic? Nah. Witty? Nope. Was he at least good at slapstick? Not even a little. Was his character that convincing? Nah, even those of us who didn't know who Mitzi Shore was knew he was really just a spoiled rich kid from Beverly Hills. Why am I taking so many characters of this review up to ponder Pauly Shore? Probably because this is the film that turned me against Pauly, and I only remember it for that.

LOL PSI was 6 - well, I can't give it that since I only watched it as 10-11yo and sort of liked it. I guess that makes me a moron and the movie is most likely a piece of shit.

Worth it just for the Peanut call. Hell is not just other people, it's being stick in jury duty with The Weasel. I last saw this more than 15 years ago; I completely forgot Stanley Tucci was in it!

(Viewed on 20/07/13): Pauly Shore's 15 minutes of fame were pretty much up by the time Jury Duty arrived, and the younger generations who weren't alive to experience his 'prime' are probably baffled by his short lived appeal, _IF_ they've actually heard of him. I was tolerant of his 'charms' to a degree as a dopey teen, but even I had standards. Jury Duty was, and remains, a woeful excuse for a comedy that is entirely devoid of anything even remotely resembling laughs. Avoid.

I'm not a Pauly Shore hater (legit enjoy Encino Man), but this is near laugh-less. At least with Bio-Dome a year later, he just goes back to Full Pauly, vs this lame not quite normal, but not bizarre enough snooze character.

If I wanted to watch a bunch of 12 Angry Men references I would have just seen 12 Angry Men.

Tia Carrere just barely saves a dreadful film and the lack of "star" Shore's acting skills. What a sorry waist for her career.

Pauly Shore movies exist. No one knows why. I watched this film when I was 13 and even then thought it was a meh movie. I would rather sit through actual jury duty.

The irony is that there are Pauly Shore movies that aren't bad at all (Bio-Dome comes to mind), but this is the worst of the ones out there.

A very forgettable comedy about a loser who tries to stay on jury duty in order to continue living in a hotel.

Pauley Shore shits all over 12 Angry men in an unfunny comedy. No real surprise, frankly.
