Jungle Beat: The Movie

Harmless fun for very small children. But for more seasoned animation connoisseurs who have already seen Madagascar, Curious George, Home, Lilo & Stitch, this has nothing new or improved to offer with storytelling or animation.

Something about it wasn't working for me. One thing odd about the animation was how it a lot of the time would look cheap, but at the same time look super adorable. Struggled to fully complete the illusion. But most of all, I wasn't getting into the story. Thin parental acceptance plot. But even if I didn't appreciate it much, the kids, 9 and 4 years old, did enjoy it. So might be just me feeling it was too clean and tame for this old man's demographic.
