Kids will be riveted by the convoluted stock market plotline, and adults will be delighted by Tim Allen regurgitating jokes from the Home Improvement cutting room floor. And *everyone* will appreciate the complete lack of likable characters or anything approaching cleverness. Truly a movie with something for everyone!

One of the nadirs of children's cinema. To resort to cliche, it makes Home Alone look like Citizen Kane. I don't care if it's a kids movie, that's not a fucking excuse for lazy, bad, unfunny filmmaking. Shit.

It's a stupid Disney movie from the 90's. If you're looking for good family films of the 90's, stay the FUCK away from Jungle 2 Jungle. There is an entire slew of better films from this same period if you want to go back and rewatch something for nostalgia.

A businessman (Allen) learns of an illegitimate son who has been raised in a jungle tribe. Named Mimi-Siku (\"Cat pee\"), the boy tries to win the heart of his busy father on a trip to that OTHER jungle, New York City.

The PSI on this was 10 but maybe not everyone has the same soft spot for Tim Allen. I’m not saying it’s a good movie. Nor even that it by any means executes an already dodgy premise by exploring the ideas faithfully, committing and/or avoiding plot holes every 5 minutes. Just saying that there are worse movies…and it’s kinda wholesome? In a “Wallstreet Exec with a heart of gold” Atlas Shrugged kinda way? Okay maybe it’s a 10…

Passable, par for the course high-concept 90s Disney effort is too benign as it marches rigidly in lock-step in exactly the direction you expect it to, not helped by Allen’s performance: a mixture of consternation and constipation marked by too few laughs – his support cast gets the best material, though it’s disheartening to see Short revving up his apoplectic schtick with nothing to play off against; the lack of a genuine antagonist also leaves any conflict in the story gasping for air.

As a kid I just thought this was alright. Any hot button topics aside, it's just not good regardless if a white kid plays native or not. Still can be a good time with some alcohol though

I didn't love the original as a kid and the american remake when I was 3 years older wasn't specially a movie I like either. In fact, I remember myself thinking how weird it was to do the same movie twice.

I recall Martin Short being funny in this toward the end of it, but that about all I can say in this film's favour.

Sam Huntington is still a working actor, I guess there is a Juvenile Delinquent type program in Hollywood where they promise to forget crap you made as a child star. Then again what's the excuse for Tim Allen still working....

Jungle 2 Jungle is for kids. That's all there is to it. Parents might not appreciate the poop and butt jokes being repeated much, so this film should probably not exist. Crap!
