Julie brings nothing new to the old Strindberg play and the only thing you can be impressed by, is the only 8 days of shooting. Often theatre plays doesn't transform well onto the big screen unless you change a lot. In Julie you never know whether you're watching a play or a film, and that doesn't work out well. Its boring, the lines sounds funny and misplaced and despite the good intensions, it is still a very dull film...
