Not scary in the least and the reveal about what was the cause of the happenings was kind of bland but the acting was good and overall I liked this better than the first film in the Village trilogy.

It's got some creative, creepy horror, some really nightmarish scenes and family drama to go with all of this. My only issue is the running time, because it would have worked better if it had just been shorter, but otherwise, yeah. I did like it.
