Judge Hardy and Son

Good enough to watch once, but not anything at all that is great in any way. The conversation between Hardy and his son are pretty much the only thing worth paying attention to.

When the hell did tires become so expensive?! Less grating than "MEETS DEBUTANTE" since it's not solely about Hardy trying to ejaculate his sperm over the entity of New York like a heavy creamy snow, but still fairly rote and pointless.

Mickey Rooney learns a valuable lesson about girls and money. Here it's clear that Rooney is the main star of the Andy "Dandy" Hardy series. Rooney's box office value had skyrocketed this year and MGM takes that to full effect, only using Lewis Stone as the bringer of morals in between Rooney's stumbles in life. Anyway, Judge Hardy and Son (1939) was another typical fun family movie from this series. Sweet, nothing offensive, teaching us about the old fashioned life with a teaspoon.

Hardy movies are full of morals - This one takes itself a bit too seriously. The one big laugh - Frazy Daisy!
