Joy Ride 3

An absolute waste of time. Rusty's rationale doesn't make sense here; his shtick was that he didn't like being lied to, so he'd punish people for lying to him by making them do stuff. But in this one, he's the one that's constantly lying and "breaking promises". Not like it would've been much better if he actually stuck to his word, but it would've been a bit less infuriating of a watch. He's still an omnipresent, all-powerful entity like in the last movies, that hasn't changed.

Plus de place au doute, ce troisième film est une grosse merde. Place aux images gratuites, on frôle le torture porn, c'est grotesque, et la mythologie autour du tueur est gâchée.

Good gore, lame story & shitty characters...In other words not a bad low budget road horror film. I liked the Rusty Nail character better in the first two films.

Joy Ride 3 (Roadkill 3) is the second direct to DVD sequel in the Roadkill series. I have absolutely no idea why I watched this film. I haven't even seen the original Roadkill film or the sequel. So watching this third film was competelely pointless. This is your usual run of the mill direct to DVD horror film. Poor acting from a cast of unknown teens and a horrendous script. It's completely mindless viewing and at only 90 mins or so long, it's not completely soul destroying.

Is Joy Ride 3 worth your time? Probably not, but it's also not really a waste of 96 minutes. There's a bit of fun to be had with it, and if you happen to be a fan of director Declan O'Brien -- I'm sure there are some of you out there -- you get to see a more mature and reserved director this time out. That ... might not make for the most enjoyable movie in the long run, but it's an interesting direction for someone whose previous four movies were three Wrong Turn installments and Sharktopus.

Efficient and gory enough slasher to make it worth a watch - wouldn't pay to see it though as it's nothing like as good as the first one
