A taste of what British comedian Ernie Lotinga brought to the screen the few films he did in the 30s. His Jimmy Josser character is a wisecracking conman with an honest heart. Here ending up in the army to fight the Germans. More a battle of wits then bombs, but regardless it's only mildly amusing with more jokes falling flat then generating giggles.
