Jonas is 18-years-old and has had to repeat several years of his education. His acceptance into Brandenburg's Paul Dessau Comprehensive School is his last chance at getting any qualifications. The experimental film project 'Jonas' is mix of fiction and documentary. It was shot during actual lessons at a comprehensive school in Brandenburg. not without a charming reminiscence here and there, but ultimately too lukewarm and pointless. why send a grown up comedian back to school when you're avoiding everything that could have a negative impact on the people there? ulmen is nowhere near his usual tricks, just sitting there, sucking at math. while this is an accurate description of my own school career, i wouldn't call it "entertaining".
