At the present time it's very interesting that we are learning more about how things interact across vast differences in scale, for example a virus or the asteroid that made human existence possible after extinguishing just about every land creature that walked the earth. Hard to break out of our 'social' world thinking where none of this reality tends to be acknowledged. Who lives in a small world?

People give this too much credit. While yes humanity does take things for granted and have done things that are environmentally disastrous, this doesn't act as a good metaphor towards that. If someone were to make a delivery to such a small race of aliens, the delivery service would not be so reckless in doing so. There are standards when it comes to the quality of services in business and a business who fails on this front loses credibility. The short is unrealistic, and frankly, unfunny.

On carelessness.

An interesting take on a disaster film, really. It was funny seeing the lazy delivery man unknowingly rampage the city of the really really tiny citizens while trying to find where to deliver the really really tiny parcel. It was only roughly 5 minutes and it got two good laughs out of me so I'd say it was a success. It was animated well, colourful, expressive... a great animated short.
