They want almost nothing to do with boxing anymore in this comedy boxing series, so instead they have this Humphrey character run for office. Things are sure getting corny in Joe Palooka land. It's like they burying the title character as much as possible because they've given-up on Joe Kirkwood Jr. showing any screen attraction.
