With all of the bad comedy sequel posts floating around Letterboxd, I put Joe Dirt 2 towards the top of my watching agenda. I wanted to believe the bad press was because people didn't like Joe Dirt or were criticizing it as a film and not for how many laughs it brings. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Joe Dirt 2 was weird. I saw Smosh: The Movie (2015) yesterday, so Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser (2015) came across as a comedy classic in comparison. Still scraping the barrel.

Joe Dirt 2 is one of the most horrendous sequels I have ever encountered. It's extremely boring and far from funny. The plot is absolutely absurd and the jokes are at an adolescent level. The first Joe Dirt was actually enjoyable to an extent but this sequel isn't even at the level of being a sequel. You now know why this never made it to theatres. Bury it in the DIRT! As of this writing, Joe Dirt 2 is the worst movie I have seen in 2015. Barely snags 1 STAR
