Jhing Chik Jhing

Most of the farmers of Maharashtra are usually poor.In absence of banks, they usually borrows money from moneylenders at very high interest rate. This film depicts a story of such a poor farmer family's tryst with poverty. Unlike other films made on these topics the tone of this movie (even though serious) manages to provide hope (in such hopeless scenario) by showing many progressive ideas. The film is backed by powerful performances from the actors and is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.
