Jetsons: The Movie

Basically just a long Jetsons episode, but with gratuitous early-'90s "updates" (e.g., George Jetson rapping, pop star Tiffany doing a voice). At least the movie had the decency to remain animated, instead of what happened over at "The Flintstones."

Awful. Sapped out the charm of the source and replaced it with a checklist of studio "must-haves" (rap is popular now, right?/new side characters that look remarkably merchandisable). On a side, add this plot to the 50-or-so plots Avatar stole from.

Lazy animated trash.

Jetsons series gets 90s shock. Honestly pretty terrible all around.

I had no idea the original cartoon was set in 2002... For a fun look at what can be done with the Jetsons, check out the episode "Back to the present" of Harvey Birdman

From what I remember, this movie was super cool. Wouldn't mind seeing it again.

Why would you want to watch this 90 minute episode of the Jetsons? Nothing new here.
