Jesus Is King

A nice compliment to the album. I like the little "interludes" and the street lights segment is particularly stunning. The organ/piano based rendition lit with some stunning blue hues had me in my feelings for sure. Glad I caught this in the Imax

This feels filtered – and especially unprogressive. As @deaddilly said: "Christianity by Apple". James Turrell's Roden Crater and the Sunday Service choir – which symbiotically empower one another – may be the only redeeming features to this film.

The Malick movie we deserved in 2019

Empty. Christianity by Apple. Everything worthwhile about this can be attributed to James Turrell and a fantastic choir. There literally isn't anything else except a goat? running and a close-up of some dandelions... And Kanye's baby. Also Kanye changing the "Streetlights" lyric from "But I'm still not there" to "And God took me there" is really all you need to know about the arc of his career at this point.
