Takes the bold approach of mixing the premise of the first Jeepers Creepers (a terrorizing humanesque creature that is at times sort of scary and at other times not so scary, namely when it is on screen) with the premise of White Squall (which was young men frolicking around without shirts).

My brother and I spent the entire movie making up jokes about a third addition to this concept that we called Jeepers Threepers. Oh yeah and we hated this one.

While this is a terrible movie on its own, its made even more disappointing by the fact that I liked the first one. Bad acting, and a formulaic plot can't save the return of one of the better recent movie monsters. Just really, super disappointing.

More confidently directed and an aesthetic upgrade of sorts with good aerial shots and superior lighting. Unfortunately the improvements end there as Salva's screenplay is wildly inferior, featuring an overload of cliched teen characters and poor dialogue delivered badly by a questionable cast. Wise is OK, but none of the characters are as well developed as the two leads in the original, and while the bus sequence where the Creeper selects his victims is effective, the rest is horror by numbers.

Bland and derivative sequel nevertheless provides a baseline level of entertainment (and mildly unsettling jump scares for the wimps amongst us!); with a cast of likable enough kids, and some legitimately great effects work on the Creeper himself, it’s a shame that Salva seems to have lost whatever creative writing spark it was that helped make the first film memorable. Difficult to hate too much on something that aims modestly and meets modest expectations; passable enough.

A good concept that could've been better. A cool monster that could've been cooler. Dumb kids that could've been smarter. A "let the monster have them so it won't eat us" plot device was good, but started too late and fell apart. It's loaded with homoerotic references, with boys laying shirtless in the sun (and lots more), when usually it's girls in this type of flick. Overall, a decent horror flick that could've been a lot better, but ends up being substandard.

Never saw the first installment, and clearly that was not a concern for the filmmakers. The film proceeds exactly like every other derivative, "isolated group of teens" horror movie, replete with the open, sequel-seeking ending.

Not only does this have no correlation to the original at all, but on it's own two legs it gets tackled to the ground. It repeats the same strategy of the original, and it's yet another teen slice n' dice put out to make a small profit.

It's got some good parts and some real suspense at times, but I think that showing the creature too much also makes it lean a bit too much on comedy than horror sometimes. The main issue here is that you feel like all characters are just cannon fodder so there's no real reason to care about them. You expect them to die in gruesome ways and you cheer for it, making the suspense borderline at best. Still, it's got some good scenes and the creature design is pretty cool.

Well, it's a bunch of high school kids slowly getting killed off in sometimes-interesting ways. But the whole movie is just trying too hard to be a scary movie rather than setting out to be a good movie that just happens to be scary.... If that makes sense.

Well, well, well.. I think I may have found a guilty pleasure. Is it good? No. The director seems to have split-director and by that I mean half of this movie is pretty damn good and the other half is pretty damn bad. Take away the over dramatic music, bad acting and some stupid ideas like the monster shurikens and there is something good in hiding. I also think this movie is very aesthetically pleasing. I was surprised at how visually good it was.

Well folks, the Creeper is back and he's still up to his Dr. Frakenstein games. This time, the targets are a high school football team, its cheerleaders and coaches. If you liked the first one you love this one as it expounds on Creeper's past. The action is much more abundant and unlike the last one you get to see Creeper throughout the movie instead of just one time before the movie ends. The movie is good, not great. Its definitely the villan that keeps the interest in this movie alive.

The sequel to 2001's "Jeepers Creepers" is a bit more of a standard offering: many characters that you don't care about, predictable (and convenient for a second sequel) ending and arguably less thrills than the original. Still, you got to give it to Salva for some excellent sequences, such as when the Creeper chases the car that Izzy is driving, and for some realistic moments: no glorious teamwork between the 'perfect teens', more like chaos and discord.
