There's some unintentional comedy to be had with the laughably bad 3-D and cheesy effects, but this movie is awful in every other way.

I will be surprised if in a few months I remember anything about this film. It was unable to hold my attention for more than a few minutes at a time. I am no scholar on the subject, but this has to be the worst 3D effects ever.

Honestly one of the worst movies ever made. The kills are more graphic but I personally can't stand so much gore in film in general. The story is completely ludicrous as well as the setting and the characters aren't very likable at all. There's no spirit in this franchise at this point.

Saw this recently and was surprised at how awful it is. I mean...it's really, really bad. No scares, no suspense, no fun whatsoever. And it's an AWFUL advertisement for Sea World, as well. How was this a good idea for them? "Ok guys, I know a great idea to promote our big grand opening. First, we'll see if we can attach ourselves to another terrible 'Jaws' sequel. Then let's make the shark's repeated maulings of our staff and future patrons a recurring part of the film! It's a can't-miss!"

This 3-D gimmick schlocky shark sequel is delightfully bad. With tremendously dated 3-D and special effects the creature of the feature becomes a joke instead of the original's terror of the sea. However, after another sequel to this franchise of shark attack movies at least they went bigger and dumber instead of trying to replicate the original. The film expanded on the Man vs. Nature themes seen in the previous films by adding real life sea creatures to help save our heroes. #TeamMammal

A failed attempt to capitalize on a once-great franchise, resorting to gimmicks and terrible effects. Not even enough cheese to warrant a few laughs - just straight up awful!

Just think, they didn't even learn their lesson after this film. There was ANOTHER sequel. Still waiting for some asshat to remake the original.

Had potential, but the script and director were not right. The tone should have been closer to Deep Blue Sea. i.e. a sly knowing exercise in genre cinema that doesn't shy away from absurdity. The problem here is that Alves, who has some talent for staging sequences (e.g. the underwater tunnel scene), fails to really capitalise on the inherent silliness of its premise and plays it too straight, and the composite effects are bad, although the gigantic shark looks okay from certain angles.

I don't think anyone needs me to tell them this is utterly horrendous. The 3d effects are as desparate & preposterous as the attempts to tie this to the first film & it has some of the worst compositing I've ever seen. Even though you're frequently laughing at the sheer abominable shitshow your eyes are getting exposed to, it's not nearly enough to overcome the boredom & numbness already inflicted by everything else in the movie.

A giant commercial for SeaWorld which is odd as it also shows multiple people die in the park. Lea Thompson is adorable and Quaid is his typical charming self, but the rest is not very good. Certainly not unwatchable as lore would suggest, but very forgettable.

Appalling, unforgivably shoddy sequel can't even offer the pleasures of a so-bad-its-good, mainly because it lacks the sincerity required for such an endeavour. Cheap "special" effects, cardboard performances and clunky, incompetent direction sink it -- not to mention its poorly executed, badly dated 3D cinematography. Worthless on any and all levels.

The one good thing about this, unlike the supposedly superior first sequel, is the chemistry and vividness of the characters, something that stirs the viewer's interest at least minimally. Apart from that, well, we have some terrible effects, scarce action, an absolutely ridiculous finale and an aggravating insistence on keeping proceedings PG. Also: the shark in this is 35 ft long. 35. That's my block of flats. And it can swim backwards too. I'm guessing it has a reverse parking sensor as well.

A definite guilty pleasure--all the silly 3D tricks are lost on the small screen but all the cheesy performances and dialogue are still there. Dennis Quaid should be so ashamed. But, I love it!

Originally conceived as a comedy (_Jaws 3: People 0_), this patchwork combination of _Gorgo_ and _Revenge of the Creature_ is good for a few cheap thrills and a couple of laughs -- especially in the original 3-D version -- but frankly, if you've seen one shark movie...

A bit of laugh when on in the background while you’re chatting to mates, but its many faults are exposed if you actually sit down and focus on it. The build up’s okay, the cast is fine (the two English guys aside perhaps – I’m still not exactly sure who/what they’re supposed to be) but the second half is just a load of set pieces – and not very good ones at that – which truly expose the dwindling budget and imagination here. The remaining 3D elements make it look even cheaper, as they always do.

Baby shark as corporate bait to business men so its giant mom can enter the park and just bring mayhem to people's lives. The attempts of creating 3D money shots are mostly laughable - balloon-like shark at the end LOL -, but gotta love how cheesy this "dares" to be beyond the dated visual effects - dude shouting "I gotta get my wallet" while an underwater section is getting flooded, SHARK CAM showing the great white chewing the arrogant brit. Problem is that everything else just sucks big time.

There is some amusement to be found in the not too horrible script and acting. Other than that, the effects are laughable and the 3D gimmick never elevated it self beyond being a gimmick.

Effects make the difference, though it helps to have a better plot. Honestly, even the original Jaws had some plot issues surrounding realism but you could overlook them for the good production values. This one just fails.

the last half hour, bar the very ending, isn't too bad but it takes to long to get to it. And the frikkin dolphin's should have killed the shark instead of yet another explosion. Add to the the fact that without 3D it looks incredibly ropey at this point. Not terrible, but hardly Jaws either.

So bad! The effects were awful but maybe that was because I didn't watch it in 3D but I doubt it. The script was awful, the acting was awful and the characters undeveloped and one dimension. The last half hour was SO boring! No suspense at all, it should have been exciting but was executed poorly and ended up being ridiculous.

Not quite as bad as I remembered. The main reason being that I finally saw it on real 3d which improved some of the shots that looked really awful in 2D. It starts off as a decent summer drama / comedy with a nice cast of young Quaid, Thompson and Gossett Jr., and you almost forget that it's a Jaws sequel. When it finally picks up the horror elements, it's almost done like a 70's catastrophe film. Sure, it's ridiculous and has serious pacing issues, but it's not IMDB bottom 100 level.
