Jawan of Vellimala

Gopikrishnan (Mammootty), a guard at the Vellimala dam, claims to be a war veteran, but is the subject of ridicule in Vellimala because of him being scared of night shifts & because of his claims of seeing ghosts. Varghese (Sreenivasan), the incorruptible new dam engineer stumbles onto a plot by the high & powerful to cast the dam as unsafe thereby evacuating the surrounding village so that they could illegally mine the sand from the dam.
