I'm glad someone agrees with me that Fucking Amal would have been better with werewolves.

Two young girls share a brief relationship. The movie shares their ups-and-downs in their quick encounter, while throwing in some horror elements that probably aren't meant to be taken quite literally. It's enjoyable, the performances are good, and the relationship seems appropriate for the girls.

Undeniably enjoyable. Multiple gorgeous sequence and a nice 80s sensibility frame this unconventional story of teenage love. Perhaps the horror aspects don't gel exactly the way they should, but I can't imagine the movie working without them.

Oh Juno Temple... why did you have to be in this piece of crap movie. This film really never went anywhere. It was a lot of really slow scenes and a lot of fluff and filler. I was bored about 90 percent of the time. The other 10 percent was when there were random bits of horror film going on in this. There were these really weird werewolf scenes where people were getting eaten. Plus, what the hell was with the scenes of hair wrapping around organs? This movie is weird without the good payoff.

Is this how TWILIGHT would look if they ran it through the "Affected, Pretentious Arthouse Fare" generator? Seems like that's kinda what they were going for with this arted-up, pseudo-lesbian, pseudo-werewolf, pseudo-sensitive teen angst heavy-breather. Pretty lifeless stuff. Mostly, when it registers at all, it's just kinda icky.
