It's a Bet (1935) turns out to be a good time! Pure light nonsense of course, kept somewhat grounded by the presence of one of the great dramatic actresses of the 1930s in Helen Chandler doing a British cameo. Might be the only film where short lived leading guy Gene Gerrard managed to look the part as well, resulting in a entertaining mid-range comedy.
