A pretty good time, although it doesn't really work as an in-universe biopic despite being set up as one. There are lots of scenes shot like a regular movie, with a few documentary-esque scenes thrown in along with interview segments, so it all blends together to create a very uneven finished product. Still, Frankie's story is really cool even if it isn't real, and you get to see lots of Ibiza. The soundtrack is alright, too. The romance in the second half is super sweet as well, enjoyed that.

Did not get the jokes & the filming style was distracting, and the audio was occasionally dodgy, and nothing made me care about the main character at all. Only giving it such a relatively high rating because at least they were trying to do something weird & interesting, and occasionally had some nice takes on rave culture.

Lots of fun. The more-serious tone in the second half works better with Dowse's editing rhythms, but it's pretty funny when it's trying to be, so that's good. Music is pretty dope too.

There are a handful of quite funny lines in this, they made me chuckle. Everything between those lines is pretty bad though. For a comedy there's way too much cheesy drama that carries absolutely no emotional weight and consequently is just super awkward. It makes everything a slog. It's still better than all the attempts at visual or physical comedy, though, which are absolutely awful. Combined with a straight up unlikable lead character and a setting I don't like it's a painful experience.

Best DJ movie there is. Great buildup to a solid drama and a must see for all party animals :D lots of sex drugs and rock and roll + a good tip what to do if you're a DJ and lose your hearing :P

The B-side of this album is where the magic starts to happen.

Some brilliant moments and some good laughs counterbalanced by some heavy and depressing drama.

Not all very funny, but I didn't expect it to like it so much. It gets more touching towards the end, which works. That video clip is hilarious plus those German guys. If you didn't think it was funny in the beginning, just watch it to the end, I think it's worth it

It's funny and insightfull. And i love the way it's made to look like a documentary. The cocaine badger is the boss.

Touching film based on a true story, the film is funny and tragic, but most of all quite up lifting. Worth a purchase.

I loved this film. It was well written, and looks cool, tells an interesting and sometimes heart-breaking story. And over sized badgers during psychedelic drug trips are always awesome.
