Ithrayum Kaalam

In the forests of Wayanad, Puthenpurackal Chackochan (Madhu), a poor laborer, becomes rich after cheating his friend Paili (T.G. Ravi) out of a land deal. Years later, Chackochan gets no peace of mind in his old age, as his sons constantly scrap over money & his illicit son Varghese (Mammootty), whom Chackochan had never publicly acknowledged, is jailed for murder. Varghese returns after his sentence & tries to repossess his land, now under Chackochan's other son Mathukutty's (Ratheesh) control. (Summary by iceblox)
