The last English speaking picture Karel Lamac (aka Carl Lamac) did, and It Happened One Sunday (1944) has it's moments. More in random scenes than for a fun romantic experience. Kind of struggled to appreciate the characters as much as I should, but at least there was some crooked pro-wrestling and general shenanigans to entertain.
