Invocation of My Demon Brother

I admire the imagery very much, but the content is so stupid (like the earlier Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome) that I can't take it seriously at all. I mean... jeez, Anton LaVey is in it, and that guy is a retard. Mick Jagger's "score" is an interesting touch, although it sure doesn't make it any easier to sit through this.

I don't give a damn about the occult, but I like Anger's weird images.

Appreciate the style but it didn't really work on me.

Voodoo - bored.

Some of the kaleidoscopic imagery is pretty interesting, but otherwise I'm very indifferent towards this.

Doesn't really do anything for me. Bits and pieces are kind of cool but mostly it felt tedious.

Just... strange.

The score is incredible, first and foremost. Another weird, experimental short with some crazy imagery that makes you scratch your head if you don't know what's going on, but you will still admire this.

What an experimental film should be: rich, strange, humorous, and not the least little bit like much of anything else (except other Kenneth Anger films)

Ainda bem que dessa vez eu assisti com os comentários de áudio do Kenneth Anger, se não eu ficaria muito puta com aquele gato sendo jogado no fogo - o gato havia morrido atropelado e aquela era apenas uma cerimônia de cremação.
