Invincible Gladiator

Middle-of-the-road genre fare from the height of a busy period for this particular sort of period piece in Italy. Good cast and costuming, though the bland direction falls flat on selling what should be the big moments. Most notable as erstwhile bodybuilder Richard Harrison's first leading role, as Italy was to prove a welcoming ground for him to be the handsome American (and oft-shirtless) leading man for years to come.
