Into the Sun

This is a really boring film, with lousy dialogue, poor production values, ridiculous views of Japanese people and culture. The scenes with the Chinese and Japanese actors were definitely the best part of this shitty movie.

Surprisingly succesful actioner despite some lazy editing and a clunky/hilarious love story. Seagal is even on the soundtrack! This movie ought to have a cult following.

Utterly inept

I really don't know what the thinking was behind this film, if you are thinking well it could be a Japanese version of the film, I would say yes but however it switches between Japanese language and English-language now and again. This film project does have an 18 certificate for many good reasons such as graphic violence, graphic disfigurement and many other reasons so I would be very selective on whom you show this film to. To be brutally honest I don't know what else to say just.

While having seen only a couple now, straight-to-DVD Seagal films are far from the worst; films of a 'better' quality have been more dubious and Seagal, for his ego, is not influential as say Tom Cruise is now. The film suffers from being too serious, with almost an hour of generic dialogue before any action, and too many side characters that are casually disposed off, but it is difficult to lambast it.
