"I want to make a terrible movie in Canada - everyone else has!" --Scott Thompson, Canadian. What IS it about Canada that results in virtually every movie made there being lousy? This is, sadly, no exception. Essentially a Hallmark movie with actual stars and an extremely confused narrative.

Pretty slow movie. The whole damn thing seems to be constructed around the payoff at the end, and that makes for a slog. I liked the ending, but structuring a movie that way just does not hold your attention. It is well acted, but you will find yourself wondering what the movie is about. It is done almost entirely in flashback. The movie's structure is just downright bad.
