Another self-aggrandizing wank from James Franco. Shallow and pretentious. There is simply nothing of substance beneath its obvious attempt at artsiness.

Intelligent and with message. James Franco wanted to make something different, to expand Cruising. Val Lauren was a perfect "Al Pacino". He was in distress mentally as well although he supported Franco's idea nicely. Though Cruising was not that successful, I did not like much the editing of Travis Mathews either.
