One of the lesser Garbo's out there. There just wasn't any chemistry between her and Robert Montgomery. And even worse, the dialogue had no passion what-so-ever. But I didn't feel it was a total loss. There is something in Garbo's personality that still makes some of it work. Exactly what, I'm not sure. Her awkward acting is distinctively hers and the light shines when she's being eccentric.
