Ingmarsarvet

Gustaf Molander's turn to adapt a Selma Lagerlöf book. And it's a pretty strong film, even bringing in the great German actor Conrad Veidt as a religious nut. And it's the Veidt parts that it's the films high points. Molander even included some creepy ghostly effects when all the spiritual stuff was going on. A very nice touch. And the movie was great the first half, but loses itself quite a bit the second half when Lars Hanson torn between his farm and the girl he loves who's leaving.
