Inescapable

Yeah, the plot is a little tired and it's nothing more than a slightly more realistic Taken, but Siddig puts in such a powerful performance that it more than makes up for the gaping flaws. A fun ride through and through.

I really liked Alexander Siddig and Joshua Jackson in this mystery that resembled a more toned down version of Taken. I was also wowed at how well Marisa Tomei looked and acted like she was Syrian for an Italian girl from Brooklyn. Sometimes this movie was hard to follow and sometimes it has you yawning and wishing it was over. There were also times where it clicked and it was really good. I'd recommend this if you really like a political mystery set in the Middle East.
