In Too Deep

Although I got the feeling i was supposed to care about someone in this movie, i didn't. Several decently brutal beating/torture sorts of scenes were pretty exciting, the story, however, just sort of sits there pretending to show a transformation of character as he gets "in too deep."

Michael Rymer and his writers portray pre-riots Cincinnati with authenticity and knowingness. And the cast is full of potent, astute performances.
