I'm Your Man

None of it--from the acting to the script to the directing to the music--feels substantial or especially memorable. But it all feels good, anyway. Eggert is solid but not much was really asked of her, Stevens plays a good robot. The themes were explored decently enough but is it saying anything that powerful? Nah. Kind of a quaint film, with little in the way of real drama. This will slip from my mind fairly quickly but hell, I enjoyed myself.

Das Szenario ist sehr ähnlich wie bei Her (2013), nur dreht sich die Handlung hier um die Beziehung einer Frau zu einem realistischen Androiden anstatt eines Mannes zu einer körperlosen KI (Betriebssystem). Leider muss man diesem Film auch einige Kniefälle vor dem politischen Zeitgeist diagnostizieren, wie es üblich ist, wenn die Öffentlich-Rechtlichen involviert sind.

a pretty well done, but not perfect movie exploring AI and the nature of our desires. the plot pacing and some writing could be improved, but there were some great shots and music. thought provoking, and with a great ending.

Not at all funny enough to be a successful satire, and by lightyears not profound enough to be a look into AI and how they could inform us on human nature. My rule is: if you have a robot, you are obligated to make it do cool shit. At least invoke some curiosity about how it functions? The protagonist is a linguistic academic and the only thing she does to check out the robot is have it do some basic math? Fucking boring! Not realistic at all. Also predictable as hell. Horrible normie stuff

Dan Stevens a regard pénétrant, il est fait pour jouer ce type de rôles. Je rêverais qu'un robot aussi sexy se promène dans ma maison dans les mêmes petites tenues, pour me faire découvrir de nouvelles sensations〠 du reste, on devine assez vite la morale, et elle n'a rien d’extraordinaire, on s'ennuie un peu.

This is an intriguing film, very contemporary and thought provoking. It made me think somewhat of Black Mirror, obviously with the technology aspect and more specifically the AI aspect. Its not a Hollywood type glitzy action or thriller sort of a film, its more of a basic drama, with a good script and thoughtful scenarios. The ending is particularly intriguing and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this film, yes.

Interesting take on the human / AI love story. The film Her seems to be the recent yardstick, so let's compare. Her was focused on an artificial general inteligence discovering the world, love, and other emotions through its interaction with her initial owner, and finally her own freedom. Here the AI is visually more straitghtforward, but what goes on in his circuits remains a mystery. The film focuses on the woman as she comes to the same realization ... I still wander what goes on in his chip

Wonderful movie about what it means to love and what it means to be happy.
