I'll See You in My Dreams

Hollywood musical paying tribute to songwriter Gus Kahn, played by Danny Thomas. But in reality, it's a Doris Day vehicle, playing the wife, the manager, the muse. It's the same style of Tin Pan Alley biopic they've been doing since the 1930s. Fairly standard, but highly polished. The two are real likable in their roles, and the support do them no harm. It's a fine time.
