Weird -- those musical scenes are so strange, yet they make sense --, but ultimately rewarding and unique portrait of an old filmmaker in big creative and marital crisis while shooting his new film -- and trying to figure out what's going on with today's cinema; that Netflix meeting, with executives trying to "teach" him how to make a film, saying his new feature lacks a "what the fuck" moment, is just brilliant.
