Uneven, but generally alright film, kind of like that Simpsons episode where Homer gets a gun but somewhat less comical. May have elements of Faust and of "Taxi Driver" mixed in. As a critique of personal firearms it's an interesting script to come from Sergio Donati who had mostly penned spaghetti westerns before this. I liked Jobert as the sick wife.
