A 'great depression' comedy - Brit style! One of the earliest roles for Robert Donat as a dept collector who finds a lot of money on the tube. He also finds love when going about doing his rounds collecting. And things get going once the father of the girl figure out a shrewd business plan to make use for that money. All silly and laughable the way it should be. It's not a major piece a work, but it does it's bit to make one happy and Edmund Gwenn as the father sure make sure of that!
