Rex Bell's westerns were never anything great... or even something half-okay, but this one was at least watchable, which is something I have never said about his westerns before. That was much to do with old timers Earl Dwire and Lafe McKee doing a good job with their parts, plus they had 'long lost son' angle with Bell not telling the bad range owner that he was his son. Apart from that it was a awkward poverty row film with an ultimate cheesy ending!
