Ibigin mo ako, lalaking matapang

The loose premise of a man coming to build an airport in the province, but that's just an excuse to channel Philippines culture for most of the duration. And it's fairly charming, mostly because lead guy Jose Padilla Jr. seems to have a good time. This movie was only a few years removed from Philippines independence from the US, at least on paper, so national glorification and old traditions was probable a thing then. And it works for a light fun time.
