Once again excellent premise foiled by a lackluster script. This movie has the content for a 15 minute short movie and the actual runtime is 96 minutes. So you suffer through 81 minutes of existential jargon uttered by non-likeable characters that have zero chemistry with each other. The ending scene is the final nail in its coffin. Boring, frustrating and nonsensical.

What's the fucking point of this fucking film? To piss me off by wasting potential? Me thinks so!

It only really has seconds of brilliance. The opening was good, the central premise was promising but the execution was off. It was a slow burn and for a film that clocks in at 96 minutes that is very bad. Mackie is the only decent part of the movie but his character is given no real reason to give us hope. This film just misses on all accounts.

The beginning is one voice over after another. I want to like these post collapse Netflix movies, but they need to deliver a story rather than a series of exposition. It felt like the movie never started. Dialogue felt unnatural or irrelevant. Even after they start doing stuff, nothing interesting happens. Important plot points come out of nowhere and are never explained or explored. It tries to be deep through philosophical discussion but ends up shallow in character development and narrative.

Nothing much to say here, just like there was nothing much to the movie.

Love sci-fi and then rend not to nitpick to much about plotholes etc but this is just so flawed that I found myself more and more annoyed the further the movie progressed. Even if this was not the case the rest of the script is just so bland and littered with pocket philosophy it's almost unwatchable. Like most Netflix films the production value is high but they really should pay more attention to a decent script instead of churning out every stinking manuscript that lands on their table

Pseudo-deep bullshit, stereotypes and bad acting. Netflix movies are mostly trash.

Seems interesting and pretentious at the beginning, but I cannot say the same things at the end. Waste of time.

Netflix trash that they seem to become experts at churning out. Fell asleep 7 times and don't think I missed any important 'plot' points.
