I promessi sposi

Such an utterly mediocre adaptation of a classic. I understand the need to skip some scenes, but not the complete blandness of everything: there is no emotion, no real drama. It seems like they just got a checklist of stuff they needed to do and then did them in the lamest way possible: Lucia's vow, the Innominato's redemption, Renzo's troubles in Milan, etc. One of the few thing they did right was the Nazareto, it looked properly dirty and depressing.
