Vittorio De Sica & Assia Noris in this thin Italian romance film of Mario Camerini. While it's obvious that the script isn't masterful writing, the grand department store ambiance really help lift this bubbly affair. Combining the wonderful lighting and big settings with easy to like characters make this a very watchable European potboiler.
