I fratelli Dinamite

This was a surprise. Italy's first feature-length cartoon in color! Tries to emulate Disney, and almost succeeds. However, there are clear differences in how to structure a scene, gag or emotion that's absent from this film, relying mainly on madness reminiscent of that of Fleischer Studios. Which could have worked, had it the narrative been more focused. But considering Disney hadn't made a proper animated feature since Bambi (1942), The Dynamite Brothers (1949) was a welcome acquaintance.
