Supposed to be one of those cute romance flicks where Claudette Colbert gets caught between two men - Melvyn Douglas & Robert Young. There is nice snowy atmosphere when in Switzerland with lots of winter sports and well shot sequences. However the script is stripped of charm! I was unable to get into the characters. No chemistry and every attempt at something cute failed so drastically that it became more a drama then the comedy they attempted.

This is billed as a Colbert feature and that may account for the somewhat modest reviews. IMO she is overshadowed (not that she does anything poorly) by her (male) costars whose continual sparring over her can be quite amusing. Melvyn Dougles steals the show (Robert Young is a perfect foil but is too "pretty" and so is 'acting' - that is my feel anyway). Ignore the "of it's time" aspects completely as the players are the thing here.
