I Married a Monster from Outer Space

A worthwhile take on the body snatcher theme with a few annoying flaws [some acting / plot point near the last act]. Really some good ideas here and less of a camp factor than most 50s sci-fi.

Não sei se essas analogias da Sci-fi americana dos anos 50 eram um pastiche ou são genuinamente para serem divertidas mesmo, mas ri um monte com esse. Delicinha. The concept is not bad, but the execution, oh my! Terrible acting and gigantic plot problems are the main things, but it's a cheap production all around. It is amusing at times, but it's not quite bad enough to be entertaining as a train wreck.

Unusually serious and occasionally pretty dark. Gloria Talbott is, as usual, terrific. The monster effects are a lot of fun and used sparingly.

Don't be put off by the title. Good stuff!
