Cecil Parker becomes a unlikely probation officer, and we follow how he settles into his job and the troubled people he meets. Most notably, a 18-year-old Joan Collins, oozing of sex appeal not yet normal for the big screen. Instant hit for her. The rest are young men struggling to come to terms with adulthood, and old Parker tries his best to understand and guide them. Out of that comes a combination of humorous and serious situations. Harmless drama, but delivered with plenty of personality.
