I like this band a lot less after watching this.

A brief glimpse into the personal dynamics and some of the logistical/business mechanics at play in a working band. Nothing terribly special but worth a look for anyone with a casual interest in the band or the subject matter in general.

Pretty images, but nonetheless a pretty standard rockumentary. Made me wonder why the music industry is crawling through the gutter, waving an empty crack-pipe - oh, no, is that why?

Wilco is a great band but they aren't really interesting enough to have a documentary.

Run of the mill band documentary. I'm not wild about Wilco, though. If this was Modest Mouse, but essentially the same format & story, I'd probably cartwheel around crowing about it.

A pretty nice look into the creation of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, being a Wilco fan this was a nice treat. I had no idea this even existed. A must watch for fans of the album or the band

A verite style documentary look at the creating of Wilco's seminal album, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Definitely a must see for fans of the album and band, especially to hear the alternate arrangements of different tracks. I wish the film took a more in depth look at the falling out between Jay Bennett and Jeff Tweedy, because they kind of just gloss over it. All the material relating to the record label falling out is fantastic though, an interesting look at the corporate side of making music.

Your enjoyment of the documentary is going to be based pretty much solely on how you feel about Wilco. The black and white is a nice touch, though.

Tweedy kinda comes off as a controlling and strangely competitive jerk, but I like that the director was able to show this side of him along with the great singer/songwriter that he is. One of my favorite music docs...full of some great performances (their practice space rendition of "I'm Always in Love" is a real standout) and beautiful, striking black and white images from Sam Jones.

Wilco is one of the best bands of our generation. Proof is in the film.
